Aaron Sakulich selected to receive Robert P. Apkarian Memorial Scholarship

Aaron Sakulich, a post-doctoral researcher who works with Professor Victor Li, was one of two recipients to receive the prestigious Robert P. Apkarian Memorial Scholarship award. Aaron is studying nano-scale phenomena in Engineered Cement Composites (ECC, popularly known as bendable concrete). He was chosen among thirty applicants for this award. The award constitutes a full ride to the Microscopy and Microanalysis 2010 conference, to be held in Portland, Oregon, August 1-5. Please join us in congratulating Aaron on this award!
